Mr. McKeown graduated from Concord University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education. Additionally, Mr. McKeown holds a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of South Carolina. Mr. McKeown has been working in education since 2012 as a Title 1 Reading Teacher/Interventionist, Kindergarten and First grade teacher, and in school operations. As the Director of Business Operations & Human Resources, Mr. McKeown is focused on Riverview Charter School’s sustainability and continuity. The most important part of Mr. McKeown’s job is to support the incredible work of RCS’s teachers, staff, and leadership. Mr. McKeown spends his time outside of school with his dog, Vincent “Van” Gogh and friends.
