If your household income changes, you must contact the TIDEWATCH Director to see if the changes will affect your award.
Scholarships are awarded per Session (Trimester). You will not receive any additional information regarding the expiration of the scholarship; it is your responsibility to reapply each trimester, if so desired. Families must reapply for TIDEWATCH Financial Aid each Session (Trimester) by completing and returning the Scholarship Application along with the supporting documents to the TIDEWATCH Director.
Financial Aid is determined by the TIDEWATCH Director based on a priority needs list whereby students who are eligible for Free Lunch may receive a 75% price reduction scholarship and students who are eligible for Reduced Lunch may receive a 50% price reduction scholarship. Please note that all families are required to pay a minimum tuition cost of 25%. The costs associated with Individual Enrichment Programs and Morning Care are not eligible for a reduction.
TIDEWATCH scholarship applications are due 2 weeks prior to the start of the trimester. Late applications will be accepted, but will go to the bottom of the priority list.
To be eligible for a TIDEWATCH scholarship you must complete and return the scholarship application form and ALL required documents including: (1) Federal Tax Return, OR (2) Previous two pay stubs for all household members, (3) Proof of student status of Parent (if applicable). INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE PROCESSED.
TIDEWATCH scholarship guidelines are based on Federal Poverty Levels. Scholarship awards are made based on GROSS household income, including all non-employment income such as child support, alimony, SSI and disability, retirement, etc. The total for scholarship awards will not exceed ten percent (10%) of the TIDEWATCH budget by Trimester. All decisions made by the TIDEWATCH Director regarding scholarships are final.

Devices assigned to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and loaned to K-5 students maintain contact with the school content filter and will provide a base level of filtering. Ultimately, internet supervision is the responsibility of the parent/guardian when devices are off campus.
Clever is a single sign on solution which handles many of our application sign ons. Students open the Clever app and sign in. They can then click on an application and be automatically signed in by Clever. Students should use this method for i-Ready, IXL, DreamBox, Brain Pop, USATestPrep, Flocabulary, SeeSaw, Big Ideas Math, and Newsela.
We use first name, middle initial, last initial, and 4 digit birth month and day as the username and 8 digit date of birth as the password. For example, John Michael Smith with a birthdate of 3/14/2009 would result in:
username: johnms0314 (2 digit birth month, 2 digit day appended - keep leading zeros)
password: 03142009
Please email support@riverviewcharterschool.org if you need help with passwords.
Other applications and websites are logged into directly.
Your child’s teacher will provide you with username and password information when needed.
Apps are loaded by the school and the student iPads do not have the App Store on them. If you are missing an app, you can click on the “Manager” app, then click “self-service”, and finally click “reinstall/update” under the app that is missing. If it’s not in the self service section, it has not been assigned to the iPad. The Riverview Technology Team works closely with teachers and the administration to provide appropriate learning apps. If you have a request for an app please reach out to your child’s teacher.
You will need to contact your internet service provider’s support team if you are having difficulty connecting a device to your home network.
We encourage you to reach out to the digital platforms support directly for issues that arise within applications or websites outside of questions regarding login credentials or academic content. Please email support@riverviewcharterschool.org for issues that you believe are something we can resolve.
