Cycle 3 Capstone Trip to Costa Rica

Riverview’s eighth grade students will travel to Costa Rica to investigate the similarities and differences between our local community and environs, with a country on another continent.

Both Beaufort and Costa Rica are coastal areas, both with a history of a plantation economy, and both with a rich and diverse ecosystem. In addition, many students will be able to practice one of the world languages offered at Riverview, Spanish, while participating in experiential learning opportunities and service learning experiences.
